Customise copy procedure

Hi community,

If a file is copied from one directory to another and a document with the same name already exists in the target folder, KM generates a new document instead of overwriting the old one.

Example:

- file test.doc exists in folder A

- file test.doc is copied in folder B

- file was updated in folder A

- the new version of is copied to folder B

the result is:

one file (with two versions) in folder A but two files in folder B (test.doc and test_0_.doc)

Is it possible to change this behavior of the copy command?

We don't need the different versions in the target folder.

Best regards,

Manuel

    Hi,

You will probably have to develope your own copy command for this.

    See this:
