Error in Sub contracting

Hi Forum,

I am creating a Sub contracting order and the system is giving me the error message that Not possible to determine any components. where as I have maintained components for the material.

Please help me with this error.

You have to maintain BOM for finished material or enter manually the components sub products in material data tab in Po item level.

Generally, you have to issue the semi finished product to your vendor to get the finished product.

Thanks for your response..

I did as directed by you and Issued the goods to the vendor in MB1B.

While receiving the goods i m getting the error

NO Special stock O 0000100001 CM10010 of this material does not exist

Please help me to solve this error.

Hi,

Your problem was with subcon-order creation. How did you achieve to have components in your PO?

1. Your PO is issued for F-30 material.

2. The component list of your PO contains the components.

3. The components have been posted to your SC Vendor's special stock via MB1B + 541 (with or w/o PO reference). Can you see them in MBLB at your vendor that is in your PO header?

4. Now you are booking GR against your PO (mvt 101 for F-30 material). If your components are at your SC Vendor's special stock there should be no such problem I think.

Hi,

Pls check that you have maintained sub-components and stock exists for that material at that vendor.

I think while doing goods issue also you can check sub-components.

Pls reply if not resolved.

Hi,

First check whether BOM is maintained properly or not. If maintained Check the Validity period for components.

Please ensure before issue stock to Sub contracting vendor using MMBE or ME2O whether stock is available with that vendor or not.

Please let me know the status if your peoblem is not solved.

hi

u have to create BOM (CS01) for the finished good or just enter components in material tab at item level , u will find component tab there and one more thing the that check the delivery date or the date of validity of bom

the bom date should be in past or the delivery date have to be in future

plz check this

ur problem will be solve

HI,

please check your PO whether its created correctly or not.

Like : 1) item category L is selected

2) BOM is made

Goods are issued with correct Mvt type 541

Please check the vendor stock in MMBE

OR Change delivery date in PO say after one month
