Document Generation Wizard

Hi Guys i am looking at generating a automatic generation wizard based on a trigger such pressing of a certain marketing document, ie if a delivery is added for example then invoice will be generated, all i require is for only AR Invoices, no other documents. Can anyone advise me as to the time estimate if this can be done?
