Activating instance SAP S/4HANA 1709 on CAL fails

Hi,

I'm trying to activate S/4HANA 1709 and it fails with below error. I have requested Azure twice to increase the count and I have terminated and recreated the instance but still fails with the same error. I'm losing hope because the trial period starts once the solution is active and I have lost two days with this error. Please advice.

The subscription policy limit for resource type 'Total Regional vCPUs' was exceeded. The limit for resource type 'Total Regional vCPUs' is 10 per subscription, the current count is 0, and the requested increment is 44. The subscription policy limit for resource type 'Standard ESv3 Family vCPUs' was exceeded. The limit for resource type 'Standard ESv3 Family vCPUs' is 10 per subscription, the current count is 0, and the requested increment is 32. Please contact Microsoft Azure support to enable the required resources.

What was the reply from Azure Support? Did you select a correct VM family, region and subscription? Usually increasing quota was quick for me, I don’t think it took more than 30 mins.

Hi Ajay,

Try EC2 Instances with AWS or GCP .
