Translating workflow notifications and emails in the HCM P&F framework

Dear SDN Community,

In the context of HCM Processes and Forms,

1) Is it possible to have multiple language versions for the workflow notifications sent to the UWL or email text?

2) If yes, how is this done? Using se63 or some other way?

3) Can we translate Adobe forms within the HCM P&F framework to different languages? Again, how can this be done? Does the layout of the form have any impact on translation of forms?

Points will be rewarded for helpful answers or related documentation.

Thanks,

Priya

    Hi Priya,

Workflow texts and notifications can be translated via SE63. It is also possible to translate workitem texts from the menu in the workflow builder.

Normally you can select the language in the program used to send out the notifications. I expect extended notifications is used for this.

    Regards,

    Martin

    Hi Priya,

Did SE63 end up working for translating your HCM P&F content? Any documentation you may have would be appreciated.

    • Hi Chris!

I know this question is very old but I'm facing similar issue when trying to translate a custom Process created via HRASR_DT. I do not find any path to do a 'normal' translation via menu, so, could you tell me more info to perform translation via SE63?. In fact, it would be helpful if you can tell me which type of object 'Processes' are (R3TR ......???? ) to try to do it via translation of 'Transport Objects'.
