hi,

Purpose of Include Text:

you can reuse the text any number of times in any smartforminstead of creating it again.

Mostly u can create signatures and logos which can be included as per reqirement.

to create a text goto SO10.

Give name of text and give text ID as ST(Standard Text).

select the language and press on create.

then select goto _> change editor.

type what all the text u need .

then goto ur smartform and select include text so that the text u created appears in the output .

hope it is useful.

Hi,

Include texts can be used in smartforms to provide compatability with SAPscript, as an include text is the SAPscript equivalent of a text module.

You can create them in transaction SO10.

To create your own Text ID use transaction SE75.

Hi,

I'm not sure I understand the reason behind your question. You would not use an include text in a smartform unless the text existed already, you would use a text module. They are just different ways of defining a text once and using it in multiple forms.

If you do need to use an include text then you create a text node in the smartform and change the type to 'include text'. Then you can choose the values from the search help on each field, or populate them with variables.
