Delete background job

Hi All,

I have defined a background job. This job is executed after an event. Now I want to delete the job and create another job with different name. How can I delete this job. Please explain me with steps.

Go To Sm37, Enter the Job name,

Select the "Scheduled" and "Released" status options, Remove Dates,

Next, in the "After Event" field from the Drop Down list , Choose the Event which triggers the your Batch Job and press Execute.

Background Job which you are looking will be displayed, Change the status to schedule and Delete the Job.

SM37, select you job with planned and delete it.

hi,

Go to sm37

select the job scheduled by you and click delete

If u schedule a new job also if donot affect ur prevoius one it will run separetly only.

it donot affect anything.

Hi,

Since this job is being triggered by an event, I can not see this job in the scheduled mode. So even if I delete the finished jobs but when I run the program again job is being appered.

Hi,

In SM37, Select the event name in 'AFTER EVENT' drop down field and select 'Sched.' in Job status.

execute it , you can find the job. Delete it.

hi,

goto sm37 give ur jobname,username and date on which it is created and execute.in next screen select the check box for ur job and click on delete icon.

it will be deleted.

Hi ,

Goto SM37, enter the job name & EXECUTE.

Select the checkbox & click on CANCEL

1. Go to SM37

2. Select Scheduled and Released

     Remove the Date fields

     Choose the Event which triggers the Batch job from the After event filed Drop down Box and           Execute

3. Select the Job and delete
