Deployment Question

Hello All,

I have a product that is defined at Customer location and plant location. A transportation lane is also defined between them.

So I entered forecast for the product customer location. Later I performed network heuristics and I see the there is a Planned Demand at Plant and Planned supply at Customer.

Following settings are in the product master

Push Depl Hor = 28 days at Plant Product

SNP Stk trns Hor = 5 days at Customer Product

So all the planned demand and supply is generated on the 6th day from today.

My question is when I perform deployment in background after heuristics, on the deployment result window I see 6th day highlighted in RED color and Qty in Demand and Roll Forward column. And when I check the interactive planning I see deployment has not performed.

Any reason why this is happening. I also have stock on hand at the PLant Product location.

Please advise.

Dear Sanju

Pl check the ATD qty = ATD Receipts - ATD Issue is the planning book.

When you execute the deployment in background, Click on the RED at DATUM column and you would find target stock level.

Check the stock level in this.

Hello Naveen,

Following are the details on my deployment results screen

ATD Qty = 0

Demand = 360

Roll Forward = 360

Target DS = 10

Please help me analyze this.

Dear Sanju

Pl check the catergories assigned to category group in ATD receipts and ATD issue. Since the ATD qty is zero, system is not able to deploy any stock. So its appearing in RED.

If you would like to deploy stock, then assign CC category in your ATD receipts and run deployment.

Thanks for replying to my query.

As suggested, I checked the ATD Receipts and Issue Category in the Location Master "SNP" tab and found it is already been defined as ATR and ATI respectively.

Another thing I want to mention here is when I run the deployment in bcakground for that source and target location, I see for few of the product the deployment is happening and for other products it is not.

And in the deployment log, I see the ATD qty is zero for products not going thru deployment. Is there anything else I should look to fix this.

Hi,

You can see the ATD receipts quantity in the spool for the deployment job, that will give u the correct quantiy, meanwhile are u tryin to deploy stocks?

Also what is your deployment horizon, deployment takes min of deployment horizon and pull deployment horizon. deployment horizon can be defined in background job variant, also what is the mode you are using? Is it Reduce or delete in the background job.

Hello Sanjog,

I am trying to deploy stocks. But that is not happening for some unknown reason.

My Deplyment Horizon is 6 days. I also tried to increase the deployment horizon to 10 days in the background job but that didn't help. Also the SNP stock transfer option is to "REDUCE".

I am still not sure why some products are deployed from Plant to DC and some not for the same Plant to DC.

Please advise.

All,

As explained above, I checked that ATD quantity was zero since ATD Issues were larger that ATD Receipts. I had to increase the stock perform deployment.

Dear Sanju,

As a first step, please check whether you have maintained ATD receipts and ATD issues profiles in SNP tab of your location master.

Also check whether you have included the relevant receipts requirements in your ATD receipts and issues categories in SPRO.

Hi,

Check your Pull Dep horizon in SNP2 tab in Product master aand also what is your deployment horizon.

If you have not maintained any category group in ATD receipt in the location or product master, it will take standar category group ATR, if you want to deploy any custom category stock u need to maintain it in a category group and populate it either in product or location master.
