deleting XML messages.

we are deleting xml messages older than 31days from our system to increase memory space.

I have scheduled a program RSXMB_DELETE_MESSAGES to delete messages.But in logs i found no messages are deleted.

But when i go in MONI i can see messages for spcified priod.

Can anyone explain me how i can delete all the messages older then 31 days.

hi vikrant,

You have to schedule this report (RSXMB_CANCEL_MESSAGES) using SM36 to run periodically (may be once in a week) in background, you can also use variant for selective cancellation of messages (i.e. for particular interface).

Hi

To delete successfully processed messages from MONI

Go to SXMB_ADM--Schedule Delete Jobs-Select the appropriate Info which is needed

Select Jobs button and provide the dates on which you want to delete the messages.

And Schedule the Job periodically to do the deletion.
