Export the data of forums

Is possible to export the data of forums?

According to SAP:

"The required export and import functionality will be available for

customers with 7.30 release accordingy to our release strategy and

planned development."

The URLs, mentioned by Kevin, work but the export mechanism behind it doesn't.

Yes , you can use the Import/Export tool that you can access through using your protal url and appending the following:

Portal 6 SP 21

http://yourportal.yourdomain.com:50000/irj/portal/forumsadmin?forumstarget=system-dataexport.jsp

http://yourportal.yourdomain.com:50000/irj/portal/forumsadmin?forumstarget=system-dataimport.jsp

This tool is also accessible when in process of deleting a forum, they descriptive text has a link to the export tool.

So we know that the SAP flavour of Jive forums also support this functionality.

I however have problem with the export as the permissions are not correctly exported.

Also be aware that if you export the global settings, and import it to say another forums deployment, you will overwrite

the targets global settings!

We are running NW2004 SP EHP1 SP06, with the Jive Forum 7.01 EHP1 SP06 installed.

Functionality is present, but still not accessible via the Jive Forum administration console - so it's a 'hidden' feature I guess.
