Wrong MRP Element in MD04

Hi,

I am facing an issue in the MRP element in MD04.I have some POs which has PO confirmation maintained in it.These POs needs to show MRP element as 'POConf' in MD04 but it is showing as 'POItem'.I have checked the configuration for"Check Texts for the MRP element" and 'POConf' is maintained in it.

Please suggest how will I get MRP element as'POConf' for POs having PO confirmation.

Hi Arnol,

Please go into MD04, set the cursor on the MRP element and push 'F1'. Please search for 'POConf' MRP element. You will find a link left from it with blue letters ('Confirmation') > please click on it.

You will see that is not for PO but for PrdOrd. It shows the status of operation and sub operation...

The MRP element mentioned by you is not in the section of purchase orders but in the section of production orders

If you set confirmation control for your PO and it gets confirmed in ME22N its status will be e.g. 'ShpgNt'. If your PO is not confirmed it will be displayed as 'POitem' whether confirmation control is set for it or not.

I hope I'm not mistaken

Thank you for this information. Does someone have any idea about how to distinguish between PO confirmation and an actual Shipment notification when looking at MD04?
