Dotted line in chart for forecast values for upcoming months

Hi,

I would like to show dotted lines for forecast for upcoming months.

for example: Current month is 08.2017.

As Is clear – blue one. We would like a dotted line for the forecast part of the line- means for month 9-12.

Please refer to the attached snapshot.

Note: I am using SAP Lumira desinger 2.0

Do you have separate measures for actual and forecast ? Or, do you have a dimension to separate actual and forecast ? Could you please share a screenshot of the initial view of your data source ?

Yes,I do have separate measures for actual and forecast.Please find the snapshot of initial view.

I tried to replicate similar scenario:

If I have my data as below:

and I use dotted line for forecast:

Then my chart looks like:

Now, if you can tweak the BEx query to use some calculation for forecast to show the data as below:

Then the chart will look like:

HI Arijit,

Yes you are right,if we have data for forecast as you suggested ,will achieve this.But they want it in single line (part of line and part of dotted line)
