Issue Asset Depeciation with scrap value maintain in asset master for 01 Depreciation area

0 Kudos

Hi Experts

Im facing issue with scrap value in Asset Master

As per the law & Snote 2052506 - India Companies Act solution for Asset Depreciation

We have to maintain scrap value 5% of toal asset value to caliculate WDV depreciation.

Here My client using 01-Depreciation area for group level-(SLM)

& for 20- Local depreciation for india requirment -Depreciation caliculate on-WDV

* as mentioned above scrap value have to add in asset master in depreciation area

for WDV depreciation caliculation . but we can't maintain scrap value directly in 20-local depreciation area. due to the field is disabled as below image.

* Its fetching we maintained in 01-Depreciation area as below image

Here we maintain srap value 5000 so its automatically fetching in 20-local dep.area because of Derived Depreciation area.

but as per our client requirment they dont want to add any scrap value in 01-Dep.area.

it will effect group reporting but scrap value required for 20-Local dep.area as per local requirment.

Please suggest me is there any way to resolve the issue.

Thanks & Regards,

SSAP

Hi,

There are the following settings:

1) Cutoff val. key

Tr. AFAMA

-> enter depr. key

-> press details (or double click)

-> Her you can see "Cutoff val. key" for example XY 5% Scrap Value

Tr. ANHAL:

Cutoff Value Keys: (for example XY) 5% Scrap Value

-> press Levels

-> Here you can see 5.000 %

Please read the F1-Help Text:

Cutoff percentage rate

Using the cut-off percentage, you can control how high the cut-off value

or scrap value should be for an asset.

The cut-off percentage multiplied by the acquisition value produces the

cut-off value or scrap value.

2. Tr. OAYI you have the memo values

3. Scrap value in the depr. area

best regards

Bernhard
