Hi,

Do you have administrative right on the system?

If not add your user as part of the systems administrator group.

Hi,

As mentioned earlier being part of the admin group try adding your name to the security tab of this folder in Windows.

Or else get in touch with your IT department to get this resolved

Once this is resolved your issue will be solved.

Hi

You have not specified which OS you are using.

1. Check whether the profile directory exists with the correct rights (on Windows, user group Administrators with authorization Full Control; on Unix, user <sid>adm, user group sapsys, and directory access rights 755).

2. If you are in doubt, create the directory manually with the correct authorizations.

3. Check that the user you are using is having the administrator rights to do all the things properly.

4. Check that your host name is mapped to the IP address in C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

4. Check whether sapmnt and saploc shares are pointing to the correct directory i.e. <drive>\usr\sap
