Rounding Issues in CRM

Hi

I have a rounding issue in CRM Service Order I should change the coding in CRM to fix this rounding problem.

Ex: Material price is 890.00, discount is 2.75% $24.475=865.525 x qty2=$ 1,731.05

My value should be 1,731.06 by rounding 865.53

Points will be rewarded for right one.

Thanks

Pat

    Hi Pat,

It should be calculated as : 890 * 2 = 1780 off 2.75% = 1731.05. So it is correct. Also please let me know the pricing procedure details.

    Thanks

      Hi pathi,

u r again calculating at unit level

      system calculates like

cost x units = value (total cost) (rounding)

u r rounding at cost level

u r taking example units as 2 if u take more like 200 or more u will get more difference of ur calculation and system calculation

      sys calculation

      865.525 x 25 = 21638.125 (sys takes 21638.13)

      according to u

      865.53 x 25 = 21638.25

      have u seen the difference

so system takes rounding at total cost level

      i hope u ve understand

      Reward if helpful

      Regards

      Manohar

    Hi Pathi

It is calculating correctly, dont take each, system rounds on total of mat price x qty then it rounds acc to ur pri procedure.

Material price is 890.00, discount is 2.75% $24.475=865.525

    890 x 2 = 1780 - (2.75%) 48.95 = 1731.05 which is correct

    regards

    hi there

i guess the value coming out is correct, because discount value which is getting multiplied is rounded up prior to the multiplication

    best regards
