SAPUI5 - Read/Write Direct Update DataStore Object

Hello,
is it possible to read somehow data from BW DataStore Object (Direct Update type) by SAPUI5 and after change write the data back?

It is possible to link BW Query with the SAPUI5 by an oData connection, but are there any other possibilities for read/write directly from the SAP BW objects?

just read/write from/to dso table using abap code, which will be exposed as odata service

Thank you, I will try to study some information about this. I have been successful to set up an oData service for a Query, but it was quite difficult as I would like to universally expose all queries for SAPUI5, it would be soooo difficult and time consuming and if it is the same with the DSO tables, that every table must be manually exposed, it will be unacceptable solution. But still, thanks a lot! I will search further information about what you've written.
