Hi,

Is anyone else experiencing issues where the notifications tab does not work? Here is a screenshot of my console that shows issues with the source code - and interestingly it doesn't seem to work in any browser for me.

Hello Ryan,

I changed the tag to "Using SAP.com", as this is the correct tag for support questions and bug reports concerning the new platform. "SAP Forum" is a tag for a product. ;)

It would be helpful, if you could add a description and/or screenshots of the issues you are having with the Notifications. Maybe someone else has the same, but it's not quite clear from the picture of the source code, what exactly isn't working for you.

Regards,

Steffi.

Hi Steffi,

I was not able to get any notifications at all for any threads for which I participated. Up until yesterday afternoon I had not had a single notification and then strangely I got notifications for one post so I will close this one now.

Hello Ryan,

you only get notifications when someone replies directly to your content (answer, comment etc). If someone replies to a question or blog, where you participated, too, you should see that in your activity stream. Was this the case?

Hi Steffi,

Thus far I have only seen direct replies in my notification stream. I still do not get any notifications when there is an update in a question for which I have participated, e.g. another person posts an additional answer to a question including the OP, or there is a comment to a different answer on a question. Not sure if that's by design but it's difficult to follow activities and help folks get an answer when notifications don't occur.

Hi Ryan,

that's what I meant, this is by design. ;) You get those updates in your activity stream. That's the other tab.

Steffi.

Thanks Steffi,

I found a different location where I could find all the recent content in which I had participated. It was convenient that the system would auto follow those posts in the old platform because we didn't have to specifically go looking for it. If we participate in a number of questions then it is very hard to keep up with all of them because more often than not there are no direct replies.
