In segmentation when we select the attribute Country need to display Mexico as default in Geo-Map.

Hi,

I am working on Segmentation functionality in Hybris Marketing 1702 On-Premise and currently when we select country attribute, we get world map in the Geo map preview. But I have one requirement where I should get the Geo map preview type only for Mexico country instead of world map.

Could you please help me to achieve this functionality .

do you want to restrict or default the country selection?

Thanks for your response.

We are trying to default the country , so that when we go to Segmentation and when we click on the Country Attribute the Geo-map display the country as "Mexico".

Currently when we select the country Attribute the Geo-Map displays World Map.

Hi Anitha,

If the country is always specific to Mexico then does it mean that Country value in segmentation filter will always be Mexico or it will be user dependent and default preview in maps will be Mexico.

If it is the first case then you can try to limit the functionality via segmentation profile and select attribute country with value as Mexico. I have not tried this but i would expect the same filter will be applicable when you switch to Map pre-view and only Mexico should be visible.

If it is the second case then you may need to check how the map rendering is done and try to default the values to Mexico, but again what would be the business requirement for only map to be defaulted to Mexico and not the values itself.
