Hi Friends,
When we trigger the program RBDMIDOC for MATMAS , we get the following message.
0 Master IDoc(s) generated for message type MATMAS
0 communication IDoc(s) generated for message type MATMAS
Note : I have checked the Change pointers config, Distribution model . All seems to be ok.
Also, I have gone through the earlier post but could not find any answer.
Can you please advise.
Thanks
Sankar

Hi,
Recheck BD50, then BD52, then in table BDCP2 that you have your pointers.
Does it work with BD10?

Hi Yoram,
Thanks for your response . Message type ISM_MATMAS is active in BD50 & In BD52, we have the entries.
I will check using BD10 and come back to you
Thanks

you just said that you want send ISM_MATMAS Idocs, but the message says it will not create Idocs for message type MATMAS
So basically your system assumes that you want send MATMAS for which you have no consistent customizing
so you have to analyze why the system even want to send MATMAS instead of ISM_MATMAS
Had you check your records in BDCP2 table, whether the change pointer records are there with message type MATMAS instead of ISM_MATMAS?

Hi Jurgen,
Apologies. message type is ISM_MATMAS only. We have created an extension for message type ISM_MATMAS and also assigned in t.code WE82. Issue we have is, when we trigger the BD10 for ISM_MATMAS message type, we expect to have an IDOC created using the above extension however IDOC is created without the extension . Because of the incorrect picking of the IDOC ( blank extension, msg function etc) the data are not sent as expected. Am i missing some setting here which helps the system to pick up the correct extension which is updated in the Partner profile?
PS: When I use WE19 by updating the message function, Extension then the data is passed as expected.
Kindly advise
Thanks
Sankar
