OMT3E transaction

Hai all MM gurus,

I have find the solutions from the threads for how to get the CIN tab in vendor master record. For my user id, SRef User is maintained as IN. But in the thread it is asked to maintain * as a SRef User for the user id. What is diff between IN and * Sref?.
