Hai all MM gurus,

I have find the solutions from the threads for how to get the CIN tab in vendor master record. For my user id, SRef User is maintained as IN. But in the thread it is asked to maintain * as a SRef User for the user id. What is diff between IN and * Sref?.

Hi,

(SRef: user) i.e. Screen reference depending on the user: - Grouping of users that determines what screens are displayed in accordance with the user master record when you maintain material master records. It also determines the order in which the screens appear.

It can be any thing as per the configuration "IN" or *. SAP suggests to keep * for all the screens availabe for the users, if u want to keep user specific screen references then use customized one.

And to get the CIN Details button in Vendor Master, you have to only maintain your User ID in Dialog Structure option "User screen reference".

u dont need to do any enhancement in the tcode omt3e to view the cin button in the vendor master data

then why do u need this thing
