Dear All,

Here in our client we follow MTO-20 Strategy and its Discrete industry. We have 10 production lines in Shop floor here, with 22 work centres/labors in each production line for sewing the incoming raw material & SFG and finally to produce the Garment product at the end of each line. So totally 220 work centres considering 10 lines.

1) Total 300 Finished products and a production order contains only one quantity of garment to be produced.

2) Each production line will be internally balanced or adjusted among those 22 workcentres within the line depending on the incoming FG order's style.

3) So Shop floor supervisor will issue the production order to the line which is least free to handle the next production order.

4) Incase of sudden huge sales order quantity, the overloaded operations in a production line will be shared among 2 or 3 labors within that same line to reduce time consumption.

We implement SAP S4/HANA 1610 and dont have APO/PPDS.

Its challenging for me to map the above scenario. Please help me in mapping by providing your valuable suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Shiva,

Thanks for your reply and consideration. I referred all the links which you mentioned above and all links are about the purpose of using and implementing SAP Fashion or SAP AFS which means exactly specific to fashion or textile industry. But here we don't have either of these, we implement only ordinary SAP S/4Hana 1610. No AFS, FMS, APO, PPDS.

And yeah actually its our wrong decision, might be we should've thought about going with anyone of the above earlier so that we could've avoided many enhancements and WRICEF objects which will be existing there in standard itself, its too late now and its half way done with ordinary SAP S/4HANA. So now i should look in mapping with existing one. So kindly throw some light on the above issue.

Regards.
