hello gurus
Iam new to HCM , i have a query when we go in for dynamic actions configurations what does " PSPAR-MASSN " stand for and where can i see the details for this .
Regards
Lakshmi
Hi Lakshmi,
PSPAR is often used instead of P0000 in dynamic actions..
The end result are often the same if u use either of these
PSPAR-MASSN instead of P0000-MASSN.
The difference i found is.. PSPAR picks up the record with the latest date..
say there are two actions in IT0000..
01.01.2008 A1 - PSPAR picks this
01.01.2007 A2 - P0000 picks this
but eventually it wldnt make much diff as dynamic action may pick based on action type.

Hi, nalla, can you please send them to me also?
Thank you!

PSPAR contains the Header Structure Values which are global and available for all dynamic actions like, MASSN/MASSG/BUKRS.
PSAVE contains the old values of that infotype.
Pnnnn contains the new value of that infotype.

Hi can you send me the document related to that dynamic action at parasg(at the rate)in.com. There is an requirement to change the start date of infotype 0002 by the hire date of the employee, as it is showing birth date of the employee in start date. Also this change should be reflect in to PA(personnel administration PA40,30,20) side only not in applicant data(PB40,30,20).
i used badi HRPAD00INFTYin Update method but it is not updating.
hi,Lakshmi!
While conifguring dynamic actions, you would use this term while checking conditions - to check whether a particular action type ( MASSN ) is being executed based on which you will execute the dynamic action.
A typical dynamic action condition check will look somewhat like this :
Itype : 0002
FC : 04
No : 903
S : P
Variable Function part : PSPAR-MASSN='01'
Thus, through this step in the dynamic action you will be checking whether action type 01 is being executed.
