"HELLO" in material description

I have created 2 materials . Now when I go to change mode or see the material description anywhere else, it shows the word 'HELLO' after the description that I have given to the material. I dont know why & how it is coming . Even if I delete it it still comes. What could be the possibility?

Hi dreamy bean,

This not regarding to SAP, it is may be due to the virus in your operating system. If you get same difficulty in M/S word, excel.

Then you should recognised.

Hi,

You must have given the Description, so that it is appearing.

You can not delete this, Description Filed is a Mandatory one.

So chaneg the Description and save. now check the Description..

No I have not included this word . It comes automatically after the description that I give to the material. When I go to change mode & delete this HELLO & save it, it gives message No changes made. & when I see the description again that word HELLO is still there.

Strange behaviour. Why is it coming automatically?

Hi,

Sit with ur abaper and check any one has activated any user exit.

By wrong user exit this can happen

Please revert back
