EWM: 2 Step picking

Dear Experts,

I'm facing an issue during EWM 2 step picking configuration.

Here is the actual configuration:

1: Activated to 2 step picking at Warehouse number level: 2020 is set as Process Type for the first step

2: Outbound delivery order item has got process type 2020 (first doubt: is it right?)

The process flow is the following one:

1: 2 odo for the same material

2: a wave gets automatically created, and it includes the 2 items

3: release withdrawal for the wave, I got 1 WHO and 2 tasks towards storage type 2010

4: Confirmation of the WHO

5: 2 release for the wave

6: Here's is the error: tasks have got same destination bin of the source storage bin.

Where is the error?

PDO item doesn't have destination storage type/storage bin data.

Can anyone help me?

Hi Marco,

"Outbound delivery order item has got process type 2020 (first doubt: is it right?)" -> Not 2020 , It should be Warehouse process type(WPT) 2010 or any ( Standard ).

First step : release withdrawal for the wave-> WPT 2020 ( determine from Customization Set Up Two-Step Picking ) -> Source to intermediate storage section( Pick Point )

Second step: Release -> WPT 2010 -> intermediate storage section( Pick Point ) to staging/ Packing based on strategy.

"Where is the error?"-> It seems the missing of strategy.Please check below link and customize accordingly.

Picking Strategy :There will be 2 strategy for Picking

WPT 2010-> "The stock removal strategy for the second picking step must find the storage type of the intermediate storage section. You control this by setting the 2 indicator for two-step picking in Customizing for the storage type search sequence. Hi, am trying to setup 2 step in EWM, but the ODO is not recognising the process type, can you please help

I'm trying to set up 2 Step picking with POSC.

2 step picking is working fine for me but I do not understand how integrate POSC in 2 step picking process? Storage process should be assigned to WOCR or second step or WOCR of 1st step?

What are steps such as OB01, OB02 ...should be configured? In my business scenario just need to configure consolidation/packing after picking.

Please guide
