Hi there,

I wonder there is possibile to copy value from one filed in Material (for example MRP TYPE-DISMM) to another field by LSMW. LSMW is going to change a lot of fields and one of them should be copy. I dont want export data first and them put it on source file. I want make automatic transfer data. How can i do this?

May I define and use some variables in "__GLOBAL_DATA___" or maybe one of the rule can do this or write ABAP code somewhere?

But what exactly would be the source and target? If, say, LSMW reads a file and you just want the same value to be used for more than one target field then you can simply assign that in the mapping (=map the same source to two target fields).

Of course, you can also use ABAP code in the mapping, if necessary. Not sure I fully understand the question and what exactly is the technical challenge. Please clarify.

You can for any target field add ABAP coding in the mapping rules, which includes also doing a select statement on any table you want to get the data from.

It is even much easier to do such things with MM17 (if you have authority to use formulas with ABAP coding)

Please provide some more details.

- Transaction for which LSMW is used

- What is this another field ?

You can try to achieve this by customer exit or badi's, you can try this out.

Thanks Kesav
