Changing element Separator from + to other symbols (eg. *)

hi folks,

may i ask on how to change the element separator from + to other symbols (e.g. *)?

my scenario is from idoc to edi and i am using seeburger for this one.

any advise please? thanks!

Hi,

This we can do in BIC Mapping Designer,

Open the standard mapping that you are going to use in BIC and there

in some properities will be there, do some work around that.

I have done this a long back,not remembered it exactly

hi,

i am working on the 856 tho. i was wondering if you were referring to the I15 (component element separator) that is under ISA (interchange control header).

i set the default value of I15 from "" to "*(asterisk)". tested the newly generated mapping, but am still getting the "+" as the element separator.

am i changing the wrong field property?

i think i found it. its in the destination options.
