Scratch Pad: Closing or Clearing Scratch Pad on End Interaction

Hi,

I currently using a CRM 5.0 system and I have a requirement to close or clear the contents of the scratch pad (scratchpad.htm) when 'End Interaction' is selected.

Do anyone know how to do this? or if it is possible?

Or know how to destroy and java script window (scratchpad.htm) from within the IC web framework?

Hi,

This is a standard function that is already available. The data in the scratch pad remain only during the interaction. As soon as you end the interaction the data from the scratch pad is cleared. Please read the following for more information.

Thanks for your fast reply. However I've viewed this in the documentation however the scratch pad contents is not being cleared. The contents remains on the screen and is only clear from the memory. I've raised a question with OSS.

However wondering if anyone else has a solution? or has encounter the issue?

Hi,

I think you would need to do some modifications in the ABAP code to achieve this. This functionality may not be available out-of-box.

That is the part I need the answer for... out-of-the-box it should be possible as it is documented though does not work. I've attempted modification to the ABAP and the MIME scripts, not still not working.

Problem has been solved... the user was using the wrong java version. using version 1.6 prevents some of the javascript from working in the ICWC 5.0
