    Hi Sree

MDM syndicator is used for distributing records from MDM to any target system.MDM Syndicator is a powerful GUI tool that allows you to select record data from an MDM repository and completely restructure it to fit the needs of any remote system.

Once data has been consolidated and cleansed we need to distibute the clean data from MDM to respective target systems which is done via Syndicator.

The MDM Syndicator provides an intuitive and interactive means for distributing master data from an MDM repository. Rather than exporting entire records and subrecords of master data to all remote systems in your organization, the MDM Syndicator enables you to customize exports to match the specific business needs and data requirements of each of your heterogeneous systems.Features and innovations provided by the MDM Syndicator to help you customize syndications include:

u2022 Parametric search. Only syndicate records which contain the data values you specify.

u2022 Item mapping. Identify the master data fields you want to syndicate and match them to their corresponding fields on the remote system.

u2022 Field transformation. Split and flatten complex field types or select fields to concatenate or customize.

u2022 Data transformation. Apply a wide range of data conversion and normalization rules.

u2022 Record suppression. Prevent unchanged or keyless records from being syndicated.

refer to Syndicator refernce guide for further details.

    Regards

    Ravi

    Hi Sree,

I wont go in technical language in detail to explain it .....

In simple Language the Syndicator is a Distributor of Data from MDM to other various System which uses the MDM Master Data for their record creation.

First the data is collected from various systems in to MDM through IMPORT MANAGER.

Second then data is Deduplicated and Cleansed in MDM-DATA Manager.

Thirs then the Cleansed and Deduplicated data is sent to the other System which are connected to the MDM Server through SYNDICATOR.

    REWARD POINTS IF USEFUL.

    regards,

    Jay.

    Hi Sree,

MDM Syndicator is a Gui which is used to send Consolidated(Cleansed )Data back to system.

Its working procedure is same as Import Manager difference is we use Import Manager to take data to MDM and Syndicator to send it back to system from where we take data.(System to which data belongs).

Once we do with all cleansing work in Data manager (Consolidation) we need to send it back to system which requires this data.so we use Syndicator.

If U have any do post ur query.

    Regards,

    Neethu

    Hi Sree,

We import lot of data from various systems into MDM and then cleanse it, now this data has to be sent back to the respective systems from where it was taken, making sure that no redundancy among the records should occur.

This complete process is done by Syndicator.

The timely and efficient distribution of master data to remote systems is an integral part of a master data management strategy. The MDM Syndicator provides an innovative and flexible solution to this problem, ensuring that users throughout your enterprise have access to the same, up-to-date version of your master data.

MDM Syndicator is a powerful GUI tool that allows you to select record data from an MDM repository and completely restructure it to fit the needs of any remote system without modifying the source data itself.

Most importantly, using the MDM Syndicator as part of your overall MDM solution can ensure that your entire organization has access to the same rich data as aggregated in your MDM repository.

    Hope this would be helpful!!!!!!!!

    If helpful do reward points!!!!!!!!!

    Hi,

The Main purpose of syndicator is only send the data to other SAP Remote systems like CRM,ECC.

MDM Syndicator is a Gui which is used to send Consolidated(Cleansed )Data back to system.

    Harmonization deals with this.

    Hope it helps.
