What is the main purpose of Syndicator in MDM? Where we use syndicator in MDM?

Hi,

The Main purpose of syndicator is only send the data to other SAP Remote systems like CRM,ECC.

MDM Syndicator is a Gui which is used to send Consolidated(Cleansed )Data back to system.

Harmonization deals with this.

We import lot of data from various systems into MDM and then cleanse it, now this data has to be sent back to the respective systems from where it was taken, making sure that no redundancy among the records should occur.

This complete process is done by Syndicator.

Hi Sree,

MDM Syndicator is a Gui which is used to send Consolidated(Cleansed )Data back to system.

Its working procedure is same as Import Manager difference is we use Import Manager to take data to MDM and Syndicator to send it back to system from where we take data.(System to which data belongs).

Once we do with all cleansing work in Data manager (Consolidation) we need to send it back to system which requires this data.so we use Syndicator.

Hi Sree,

I wont go in technical language in detail to explain it .....

In simple Language the Syndicator is a Distributor of Data from MDM to other various System which uses the MDM Master Data for their record creation.

First the data is collected from various systems in to MDM through IMPORT MANAGER.

Second then data is Deduplicated and Cleansed in MDM-DATA Manager.

Thirs then the Cleansed and Deduplicated data is sent to the other System which are connected to the MDM Server through SYNDICATOR.

Hi,

MDM syndicator is a port through data is sent out of MDM to various systems(rremote system)

Conside a scenario where u take data from ECC ,cleanse it in MDM .U need to send this data back from MDM to ECC system or sum other system(May b SRM,CRM,BI,nonSAP) .For this u require syndicator.
