i am planning to record ABUMN t.code using LSMW.

please let me know what are the fields i have to record.

Is there any other t.code for asset reclassification?

Hi Preethi,

You can use ABUMN transaction code for transferring the asset to another asset class. However, ensure that both the asset classes have the same depreciation areas.

Hi Preethi,

You planned to use LSMW for uploading the data. You can record the transaction and prepare the file for LSMW. Please refer to the link below for using LSMW.

Hi,

in that site click on tutorials and then under the document categories which given on the left hand side please click on LSMW. Here you will find the screenshots for each and very transaction.

If u dont have the transaction data u can delete the asset class and upload it

but if u have the transaction data then reset the company code then ur transaction data

and master data will be lost.

Hi Padma,

thank you very much for your prompt reply. those asset classes have transaction data. i dont want to delete asset classes. i want to reclass them to correct asset classes. i think by recording ABUMN t.code in LSMW we can come across this issue.

please let me know your thoughts
