Hi All,

I am working with PI 7.1 ....

1) Can ne one tell me the steps to create Technical and Business systems as Web as Java in the

SLD ..When i started of with it...it is asking for various parameter details...where will i get them from...like Instances , Ports and things....What shud be given in all these places as they r all mandatory..

Is it mandatory to have Web as Java type Business systems created when am not working with B2B applications .Can i use Business Components ( Business Service in previous versions ) instead to create communication channels and finish of with it successfully ....

2) Secondly in the ESR when i open the Java proxy wizard while selecting the software component version its giving an error like does not contain any active message interfaces .If this the case how can i proceed further with java proxy generation??? Kindly let me know the reasons ....

Thanks & Regards ,

Deepika K

Hi Deepika,

This is quite an old thread, but as i assume in the future other people might bump into the same issue.. I will share my findings!

I encountered the same issue no. 2 and I was able to find what is going on. As there were some changes related to the Java Proxy generation in 7.1 compared to 7.0 (check [here|; for more information), you need to make sure that you specify your Service Interfaces with the interface pattern "Stateless (XI30 compatible)"! By doing so the Java Proxy Generation wizard will be able to see the Service Interface.

Have a nice day!

1. What system do you want to use to deploy the Java Proxies?

You need an adapter engine or a PI system. Here a technical system should be in the SLD automatically. Just add a business system to this.

2. Seems that you have not acivated your service interfaces.

Stefan

Hi Deepika,

2) Are you sure you have created an Interface in the Integration Repository. If not, create an interface . AFAIK, the starting point of generating a proxy is to create a Interface.

Hi,

1. Creating Technical and Business systems will be done by Basis guys it not your job.

2. is it a warning or is it an error? if it is a warning You can ignore this and continue.

Please reward points if it helps

Thanks
