Unicode CRM2007 and Non-Unicode ECC6.0

Hi All,

On our project, we are trying to setup the connectivity between Unicode CRM2007 and Non-Unicode ECC6.0.

I have setup the RFCUsers in both the systems.

Now when i try to test the connections from ECC in SM59, i am able to remote logon to CRM System but when i try to do the same from the CRM System, inspite of clicking on the Remote Logon button, the ECC logon screen is not opening.

I have maintained all the relevant settings mentioned in B01 and C71.

Also the connection test is working fine.

Can anyone suggest any solution to this issue.

Hi - have you checked in trx. SM59 from the CRM system that the RFC connection to ECC 6.0 has in the 'mdmp & unicode' tab the flag 'None Unicode' marked.

Hi Guys

The issue was because of the user type of the RFCUSER User. Once changed to Dialog user in the target system the problem was solved.
