Dear SAP SMARTFORMS experts,
For a number field, even if the display length of the field is short (e.g. 1,000), it seems that there are leading spaces which are included with it which makes the field wrap to the next line.
Is there a way in SMARTFORMS (without touching the Print Program) to truncate the leading spaces so that the field is not wrapped, expecting that the number value displays only up to let's say 6 digits?
Your advice is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
hi there
yes there is a soln to that
in ur text editor of the window in which u r printinmg the currrency/quantity field
write &field_name(C)& instead of &field_name&
then the leading spaces will be truncated...

hi,
You can use the &variable+2(3)& for displaying the required characters in the smartform.
