Open windows folder from POWL inbox - Webdynpro

We have requirement in Webdynpro POWL inbox. We are displaying link to action for column in a inbox. The link contains Windows folder path (Ex:- C:\Users\sridhar\Pictures\Saved Pictures). When ever user clicks on this link its should navigate to windows folder path. We need solution same as call_browser function module which works in GUI environment. We need this in portal environment.

Kindly revert with solution if any one has worked on the same requirement.
