Hi gurus,
I have defined three text types in Sales header and and three text types in Delivery header ....and i want to have the data flow from sales texts to delivery texts but the data is not flowing .
Pl let me know how to go with this.
Thanks
Sasi
Hi
VBBK refers to the preceding sales document where the text is defined as header text.
For example, if the preceding document was a quote copied into an order, then VBBK
refers to the quote. If it was an order copied to a delivery, then VBBK refers to the order.
If a delivery is copied to an invoice, then VBBK is the delivery. Hope this clears your doubt.
Thanks,
Ravi

Dear Ravi,
I have entered some text in the sales order and created a delivery ...the text is flowing from sales order to delivery....i made changes to the del text and created invoice...in the invoice the text show the sales order text rather than the delivery text...
Can u pl let me know waht should i do ?
Thanks
Sasi
Hi sasi
Thanks for re correcting me In delivery the tables will be VBBK and VBBP i suppose.
Coming to your query the text you modified in delivery is not flowing to the billing because the drawback of text determination is , once the text is copied or referred the same text will be flowing to the next documents. so if you change the text also it doesn't work

Hi,
The flow of texts from order to subsequent documents is a standard behavoiur... All you have to do is determine the texts proeperly in the system...
Maintain the text types and each text type should has a separate access sequence,
maintain the text types in the text procedure and asssign access sequence to it properly and then assign the determination procedure to the sales and delivery document types... Have a look at text objects also....
More imp is look carefully with text types and access sequences.... hope this helps you....

Hi,
1) create text types i think you already did it...
2) create access sequences for each text type
3) In the access sequence maintain the text object and also the text type... if you want to copy from customer use text objects as KNVV, KNA1 and so on....
If you want to start texts from sales order it self then go with VBBK... and the text types which you need to copy or maintain...
4) Select the text determination procedure and maintain the text type and assign the access sequence to it....(sales document header texts)
5) Repeat the same process from step 2 through step 4 by changing the text objects to EKKO....
6) here the text types will be same...
7) Assign the determination procedure to the sales document types and delivery document types...
Every thing is done in the transaction VOTXN.....

Hi Bhageerath,
How can i add a new Text object during creation of the access seq?
i have created a text object and assigned to sales ,delivery and billing header...I have created acc seq and the text is flowing from sales to del to billing.....
My requirement is i need to change the text in the delivery so the text is copied form delivery to billing...but its taking the textt from VBBK as it is maintained in the acc seq....
I need to fetch the data from Delivery header to Invoice(Just like VBBK which fetches data from the sales header)...there is no LIKP text object...How can iadd this ?
Thanks
Sasi
Hi Sasi,
As you specified texts are maintained at header or item levels. Once u maintain ur text perfectly it has to be reflected on to ur subsequent document also. Check once agian carefully all the settings(i.e. text types access sequences and procedure assignment). Still if u get the same problem let me know.
