    Dear datla Sarvesh

Both are same. Of course, we can even call proforma as invoice, where there is no financial impact but billing will always refers to commercial invoice.

    thanks

    Hello Sarvesh,

    In SAP terminology,

First Billing Document is Generated in System, and

output(Printout) which is sent to the Customer is Known as INVOICE.

But in Genaral both having the same Meaning.

    Hello,

As per SD, An Invoice is a Sales and distribution document used to charge a customer for a delivery of goods or for services rendered.

Both Invoice and billing documents are the same.
