General Scenario?

HI,

Client is fron US,He makes an order of 10 goods of 3 different materials each.The Company has plants in valrious location across in different regions.The company has to deliver the goods from California to Newyork.How to do this.

one of my collegue has asked me thisquestion.can any one anwer this question.coz i was confused while answering in

Currency conversion, pricing will be done based on us currency or Rupee.

i have given one possible answer is Export sales.He was Satisfied with that answer but he need in detail...

Pls with out mind give answer.Sorry if my question is irritating.

Dear Raj

I have few questions b4 answering you.

1) You said that the company has plants in various locations but have not indicated whether that 3 different materials will be produced in multiple plants or in one plant.

2) You have indicated that company has to delivery the goods from California to NY. Is the California a warehouse ??

3) If the requirement is like materials produced in multiple plants should be consolidated and despatched from one place

Please clarify so that suitable suggestions can be given.

The 3 material will be despatched from the same plant. And California is a Warehouse only.

Either you can do Consignment process or adopt to Warehouse Management.

hi sir,

I know this method...but my question is regading price...coz co is from india and has to sell goods from its plant which is at california to newyork.while i am preparing material how the price is convert to dollar.i.e in mm01 Accounting 1 in std price how much price i should mention there.and in vk11 pr00 ctype how much i should maintained.

ex.std price is 1000$ and Pr00 is 1200$

how should i maintian this...

Hi raj

Just to add to what laxmipathi said You need to assign the currency in customer master record for that customer . Now when you maintain condition record in VK11 , give currency as USD. and save it . Now when you create the sales order system will determine the value in USD

Hi

But in currency conversions maintain 1usd = 45inr like that , this is an example.

Now when you do VK11 give currency as USD , system will determine in USD only in sales order
