Copy control

In billing, is it always safe to do Pricing type G, copy pricing unchanged and redetermine taxes?

Is this maintained in copy control from del to billing? where is the config done?

my approach is to use pricing type H (redetermine freight conditions)in copy control from order to delivery (how does system know to copy existing pricing conditions unchanged and only redetermine freight conditions(freight conditions can be weight or percentage based right?).

Then in delivery to billing copy control use pricing type G. Is this approach standard and correct?
