Can any one please tell me what are the componets that are installed by default after installing ECC 6.0 for the FICO module... At my client presently they are using FICO module but they are only using the General ledger component... do we have to configure all the components in the FICO module separlty or by default they get installed when we install ECC....
please help...
Hi Vasudevan
the full answer depends on what you mean with "component".
In the back end is FICO running in different software components of SAP ECC (SAP ECC is the smallest installable unit).
From the users point view is SAP ERP structured for processes or scearnios. A FICO process, such as "Financial Consolidation", might require other systems as well (i.e. a portal), deoending on what the user is supposed to do.
The easiest planning approch would be to start with the Master Guide (service.sap.com/erp-inst). The tool service.sap.com/slc includes more information about the assignment of "Process" and "component"
Hope this helps

Hi Vasudevan,
The FICO is by default installed in the ecc6 but you have to configure according to customer requirement.
