Xcelsius connection error with SAP Web services

I am trying to use XCelsius 2008 to connect to SAP Webservices using Webservice Connector.

I provided the WSDL URL and tried to Import. But got an error "Unable to load URL".

I tried this in Xcelsius 4.5, but got an error "Unable to load WSDL"

When i use a sample wsdl from internet it worked fine.

I am very new to Xcelsius and it seems like the SAP Netweaver web service basic authentication is failing. Is there any way to hard code the username and password so that it will work?

Or am i missing something important here? Any help would be appreciated.

My email id is aniljose.u@gmail.com.

Thanks,

Anil.

    Hi Anil,

I think you are getting this error because you are creating a web service url from an application which is not supported in xcelsius.

If you want to use web service you need to create a web service url by using flynet or QAAWS(Query as web service). Flynet is an addon which comes with xcelsius using which you can create web service url's.

Also if you are using Business Objects Enterprise you can use QAAWS as well it is an addon with BO.

    CHEERS,

    Anshul

To the end of the wsdl add the following an replace with the appropriate user id and password

    Append &SAP-USER=user&SAP-PASSWORD=pwd
