How is Crystal Excelcius "Real Time"?

<p>I would like to create Dash Boards for use on the internet. I would like my clients to see their data as it is in the database at the time the web page is loaded. Is this possible. Everything I read makes me think I can only display the data in the Excel file. </p><p>Thanks.</p><p>&#160;</p>

I know this is a late edition to your original comment but there is a great product I use to create the web service. The product is from a company called Flynet. (www.flynetviewer.com )

I've been able to create web services that connect to both my Oracle and SQL Server 2000 database from the same dashboard.

<p>We had a great presentation from David McAmis on this subject at the Diamond Developer Conference.</p><p>David talked about a number of ways that you can include real-time data in your Xcelcius Dash Boards.</p><p>You can use Crystal Xcelcius in combination with web services to provide real time data. If you want to use data from your existing Crystal Reports you can use a product called Crystal Vision Server and Business Live office to provide real-time data.</p><p>The way it works is that you can tell Crystal Xcelcius to refresh its data on a specific interval. Sorry I missed that one I was in San Fran, and only caught the woman from Sabre on getting started with Excelsius. Your link just opens up the number 2 int the window. What type of file is it trying to load, perhaps it is my security settings.Â
