Whenenver I re-pulish a old report and add a new parameter to it, all the old scheduled instances start to fail. Lets says I have a report with 10 Parameters and I schedule jobs for the report. The jobs are running fine. Then I go and add the 11th parameter to it and re-publish the report. The scheduled jobs start to fail. This is regular problem and will happen with every report. Has anyone found a solution to avoid this problem. I could not find anything out of the box instead use a third part tool which has to be bought sepearately. For sure it is not a un-common problem and still PG group has not thought about it.
Hi,
In XIR2, all the scheduled jobs will take the latest published report from the coporate repository. Since the number of parameters are changed in new version of the document. The older schedules fails. You have to re schedule them
Thanks,
Vijay
