Cannot Report Using Oracle Synonym

Oracle 10g

JBoss4.0.5GA

I am having a problem with Crystal displaying data if I use a user who relies on synonyms. If I use a user who owns the tables that I am reporting on there is no problem, however, as soon as I user the synonym user there is no data displayed.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I have meet the same problem when I create report from Crystal XI developer edtion using JDBC connection.

I did as following:

1.On report create wizard,create a new oracle database connection.

2.Right click the connection and select the option menu.

3.check the synonym option and enter owner as PUBLIC

all the public synonym will be displayed.
