New to SDK

Hi,

We are using BO XI R2.I have developed reports in webi as well as deski.In deski i have created macro to introduce buttons in the menu bar to dynamically change the report section headers.i want the same functionality in webi reports.I got to know this is possible by sdk. but i am lost on the documentaion in developer library.Can somebody please help me what are the installations required in my system(currently BO XI R2 enterprise sp2.5 is installed ) and what all setup required to start the SDK coding.So that i can introduce new buttons and facilities while developing reports in webi.I got some one who can help me on JAVA coding. I just need the basic set up in my machin to start.

Any help on this ?

    WebI is a little different than Deski. You have access to the WebI SDK at this link:

    There is a DHTML sample which you could edit if you are working with the DHTML viewer

    If you want to add buttons to the Java Applet Viewer you will need to use the Extension Points available on the Business Objects Labs site.
