problem connecting my enterprise system repository

Hi

I have a problem connecting my enterprise system repository from my design desktop. I always get the message : "The system myServer can be contacted but there is no cms running at port 6400"

I need to get connected to system repository from my design desktop to install web elements.

I am using a trial version of Crystal Reports XI developer edition that I share and view with CR4E, and I'd like to test all of its functionalities to decide whether we buy it or not. I have only 5 days left for testing Crystal Reports XI, so I must test the latest features I just discovered (the magic webelements) very quickly

actualy I did not have crystal reports Server nor business objects enterprise installed ...

I'm wondering if it's possible to install webelements without crystal reports server.

if so, could you please tel me how.
