<p>Hi Everyone,</p><p> I am new to Business Objects, now i am working in a project related to BO XI, in that i want to retrieve metadata information such as</p><p>1. To get user details and authentication to view particular report.</p><p>2. To get universe names available for that user.</p><p>3. Much of the information in the CMS database is in a proprietary binary format. In order to access this information, you have to use the BusinessObjects SDK.

I've also found that it's not a simple task to determine which reports a user has access to. With the SDK you can determine which users have access to a specified report, but I have not found a way to determine which reports a user can access.
