List of values

Within WebElements, is there a way to use the list of values from a data field to populate a drop-down list for the WeSelect custom function versus hard-coding the values? Currently, I can add the field name for the element value and element displays fields but when viewing the WeSelct custom function, I only see the first value for a specific field.
