HI,

recently I downloaded the Release 2 of Crystal Report XI. I have Visual Studio 2005 installed without installing its companion version of Crystal Report .Net. What i want to do is to work and create a report in Crystal Report XI release 2 and use this .rpt to be viewed in my asp.net web page.

What i expect is when i install Crystal Report XI release 2 it will automatically integrated in my VS 2005 so i can put a CrystalReportViwer in my asp.net page then pointing to my .rpt created in Crystal Report XI release 2.

Anybody Help.

thanks
This is more of a developer question than a report design question which is what this forum is focused on. Please post this question in the developer forum (http://diamond.businessobjects.com/forum/32 )
Thank you.Â

To have Crystal Reports XI R2 and VS 2005 to integrate together, you need to install VS first and then install CR XI R2. Once you have done this you should be able to create reports with XI R2 but use VS 2005 to integrate the CR runtime components with your ASP NET page to display the reports over the web

Rob Horne
Rob's blog - http://diamond.businessobjects.com/blog/10
;
