Installing CR4E into myEclpise IDE

don't know whether this is a bug, but maybe interresting for those of you using myEclipse 6.0 IDE (like me).

After installing CR4E into this IDE, CR4E does not have its database

view. That is you cannot assign table data to your design. You cannot use the myEclipse database view as well. Tested on winXP and ubuntu 7.10.

there is a work around for this problem... You will have to enable WTP in MyEclipse (Windows>> pref.>>General>> Capabilities>> advanced>> and in one of the options there you'll see WTP).

Then install DTP using update site (http://download.eclipse.org/datatools/updates).

You can then see "DATA Source Explorer". This can be used add data sources to Crystal Reports from the "Data Source Explorer" view.

I tired and it worked.... but then was unable to work with custom SQLs in the report ... so switched to eclipse.
