Hi all,
I have very serious problem with JRC. When I'm creating (for example) text field with specified size, and the content is greater than the size of the field frame, the JRC prints the report with the oryginal size of the font (the whole text is printed) instead of cutting the text (as it is done by Crystal Report Designer). Have you any idea how to avoid such a situation?
Regards,
Andrzej
I don't believe that there is anything that can be done about this since this is the default behavior of all the DHTML viewers. Database fields will not get truncated in order to prevent loss of data (however text fields will).
So to truncate the fields properly - you will need to place the database fields inside a text object. That will force it to properly truncate the database field
