Hi,

Is there anyway by which the workbooks can be formated (font, color, size) along with the option 'Apply format' option. In 3.5 there is an option by which we can format the layout of workbooks. Is there anything similar to that in Bi7.0.

Thanks,

Purbali

Hi,

When you open the workbook and click on any cell, you can go to the menu option Format -> Style. This will show you which style is applied to that cell(s). You can change this style and save the workbook.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

But when I choose a particular cell choose 'Format' and apply the required format font I cannot save the font size when the workbook is again refreshed.

Also if I uncheck 'Apply Format' option I cannot use the same font and layout when I try to do the drill down features.

Is there any option by which I can use 'Apply Format' and also change the font of the column headers at the same time.

Thanks,

Purbali

Hi,

I am not sure where you got this 'Apply Format' option. I am not able to locate it as such.

Did you use the option 'Style' in the format menu in Microsoft Excel to change the style of cells and then save the workbook? The style are named like "SAPBEX______".

Thanks, but I am not interested in changing the font for workbooks. Just the default font when a query is run.

Hi Purbali,

U can also use the below option.

"If you go into design mode and select the analysis grid you can untick the Apply Formatting option which should then allow you to make and keep formatting changes in relation to colours, font size etc when you refresh the workbook.

Hope this helps.
